A life in Thailand.
A story still unfolding.
I’m Joshua. Thailand has been my home for years—and it’s where much of my life and work comes together.
I’m retired Army, a filmmaker, and the creator behind the channels you’ll find here. My connection to Thailand is personal. I was married to a Thai woman, and I’m now a widower. That chapter of my life belongs in my story, alongside the work I’m making and the life I’m continuing to build.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, where I’m now pursuing my master’s in New Media Journalism. My focus is documentary and journalism: paying attention to people, asking questions, and finding the story beneath the first impression.
Some of my work is personal. Some is blunt, funny, and a little uncomfortable. Across the different channels, I’m interested in the same thing: how people actually live, the choices they make, and the gap between what they expect and what they find.
Thailand gives me plenty to talk about, from everyday life and travel to Pattaya’s nightlife and expat culture. This site brings those different sides together, along with my film work and what comes next.
